This privacy policy describes how Triage Vets uses and protects any information that you give us.

Triage Vets may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 1st July 2018.

Our Privacy policy is designed to be clear and concise. It does not provide every detail of our collection or use of personal data; however we are willing to provide further information on request. Please contact Triage Vets for more details.

What we collect
We may collect and store the following information:

Name, address & post code.

Contact information including email address, telephone other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers.

Volunteered information by you i.e. preferred contact, or times of contact etc.

Telephone calls may be recorded for training purposes. 

What we do with the information we gather?

If you choose to provide us with your personal information, we may use it to better understand and improve on the services at Triage Vets.

In addition, if consent is given, you will be added to our e-mail mailing list, which we will use to provide you with the latest information and promotional offers.

Who do we share your information with?

We do not sell any personal information to other companies or third parties.

We do not use your name, address, email address, or phone number to deliver Internet ads or unsolicited mail.

If you are part of our mailing lists, we will always have a clear mechanism for you to remove yourself from future mailings.

Wherever your personal information may be held within Triage Vets or on its behalf, we intend to take reasonable and appropriate steps to protect the personal information that you share with us from unauthorised access or disclosure.

Companies working on our behalf: In some situations, we use a third party company to help provide some of our services (for example processing laboratory samples or sending reminder messages when your pet’s vaccinations are due). In these circumstances, we will share only the data required to provide the service.

We have contracts in place with these third parties that ensure your data is stored safely, will not be used for purposes other than fulfilling our contract with them and will not be retained by them for longer than is necessary.

We may also be required to share your information with insurance companies when processing pet insurance claims. This is necessary to allow you to claim on pet insurance policies.

Your data is stored for as long as you remain to be our client, once you are no longer using our services Triage Vets will be required to hold your personal data for a minimum of 8 years to comply with regulations that apply to us.

Your preferences

If you would not like to receive reminders about products and services you have purchased from us (for example vaccination or worming treatments) you can opt out of these messages by contacting Triage Vets by telephone or in writing at any time.

You can update your preferences at any time by contacting the clinic by telephone or in writing at any time.

Your Personal Rights

You have the right to ask us to stop using your personal data, restrict how we use or to delete it. There may be legal or other reasons why we may need to keep using your data but please contact us if you think we should not be using it.

You have the right to ask for your personal data to be transferred to another service provider in a useful format.

How we use cookies
